You see the fee first.
The app prices the swap or bank transfer and shows the Monet fee before you confirm the transaction.
Monet allocates 75% of the net fee revenue it retains from supported-chain swaps and bank transfers to the $MONET buyback-and-burn program. The rail changes the settlement path, not the policy.
Every fee category is covered by the policy, but every asset cannot buy $MONET directly. The complete path is collect, net provider costs, allocate, consolidate, buy, then burn.
The app prices the swap or bank transfer and shows the Monet fee before you confirm the transaction.
Depending on the route, the fee arrives as ETH, SOL, a token, Relay app-fee proceeds, or a bank-transfer developer fee.
“Net fee revenue” means what Monet retains after separately billed provider and payment-rail costs—not every dollar a customer pays.
Seventy-five percent of that net fee revenue is earmarked for $MONET. The remaining 25% stays with Monet for operations.
Fees outside Robinhood Chain remain in their rail treasury until settlement converts and moves the allocation into RH-chain ETH.
The executor buys through the MONET/WETH pool, then sends the purchased balance to 0x…dEaD where it cannot return to circulation.
Here is where each fee starts, where it lands, and what has to happen before it can become a public $MONET burn.
The swap collects Monet’s fee in ETH into the ops treasury and writes an rh-* fee event. The scheduled executor reads those events directly, adds 75% to the amount owed, and executes when the balance and floor allow.
Relay-routed swaps—including Base, BNB Chain, HyperEVM, Robinhood Chain, Solana, and supported delivery routes—accrue Monet’s app fee at Relay. A daily signed claim pays available fee assets to Monet’s Base ops treasury.
Jupiter, Pump, and Chainflip routes collect the disclosed fee in the relevant Solana token or SOL account. Those assets land in Monet-controlled fee accounts or the Solana ops treasury, then wait for reconciliation and consolidation.
Bank fees are charged as part of the transfer quote. For Bridge-settled, fee-bearing transfers, the settlement webhook claims the buyback allocation exactly once and records it in USDC. At the default economics, 45% of a 1% developer fee equals 75% of Monet’s roughly 0.6% net after Bridge’s separately billed 0.4% rail cost.
These are the checked-in operating defaults for the automated RH-chain leg. Runtime settings can be changed or paused by Monet.
New eligible ETH fee events add 75% of their value to a persistent “owed” balance.
The worker checks new events, available treasury ETH, and whether a buyback is large enough to execute.
Below-floor amounts carry forward instead of wasting value on tiny transactions.
The worker leaves a treasury cushion so the wallet can still pay for the swap and burn transactions.
The buy uses the live Uniswap v3 MONET/WETH pool and sets a minimum token output before sending.
If funds are short or the buy fails, the owed amount remains. If a burn fails, $MONET stays in treasury for the next sweep.
The buyback is a treasury transaction, so Monet does not charge itself an additional swap fee. A successful buy and the subsequent burn are each written to the treasury audit ledger with their on-chain transaction hash.
The contract, market, and burn sink are public. Use the official address below and verify it before every transaction.

$MONET is a volatile crypto asset. It is not a bank deposit, is not FDIC insured, and does not represent equity, ownership, a claim on Monet, or a promise of profit. “Net fee revenue” excludes third-party provider and rail costs. Fee rates, provider costs, treasury-consolidation timing, and buyback settings may change; the app shows the current customer fee before confirmation. Nothing on this page is financial advice.

$MONET is separate from using Monet for payments. You do not need the token to receive salary, hold dollars, or send a bank transfer. The token page explains the fee policy so people who choose to trade it can verify the rules and the on-chain activity.
