US accounts / International access

A US account
without a US SSN.

Living outside the United States shouldn’t mean your money can’t work across borders. Eligible non-US residents can apply for US dollar virtual account details through Monet without a US Social Security number.

Use supported US account details to receive dollar payments, and eligible EUR account details to receive SEPA transfers. Monet brings those routes together with payments, invoicing, record keeping and AI insights.

Who can apply without an SSN?

The no-SSN path is for eligible people who reside outside the US. You still need to complete identity verification and provide the identification, address and other information required for your country and provider. Approval is not guaranteed.

If you reside in the US, an SSN is generally required. This is access to US account details for eligible non-US residents, not a way to bypass verification for Americans or US residents.

What documents can I use?

Supported non-US identification can include a passport, national ID or local tax identifier, depending on your country and the verification provider. Mexican identifiers supported by Bridge include CURP, INE and RFC. Additional proof of address or source-of-funds information may be requested.

Check the requirements shown during onboarding. Bridge’s individual verification requirements explain its residence-based SSN and local identification rules.

US dollar accounts and ACH payments

Once approved for the appropriate route, use your assigned US account and routing details to receive supported dollar bank transfers. Standard and same-day ACH processing depend on the route, sending bank, business-day cutoffs and checks. Always follow the deposit instructions shown in Monet.

A bank deposit being received does not necessarily mean it is settled or available to spend. Some routes convert incoming fiat to stablecoins. Fees, limits and conversion details depend on the route and provider.

Euro accounts for SEPA transfers

Eligible customers can also access EUR virtual account details for supported SEPA transfers. EUR access has its own approval and availability requirements. Use the beneficiary and reference information displayed for your account.

Built for personal and cross-border business use

Business payment services require the appropriate business verification. Personal eligibility does not automatically authorize business activity.

Is this a bank account?

Monet is a fintech, not a bank. Virtual account details and payment services are provided through third parties. Availability, accepted senders, permitted use and settlement terms vary by route. Digital assets are not bank deposits and are not FDIC insured.
